Hebrew ad for graduate students (PDF) is here.
Graduate students needed for theoretical research projects in the subject area of the history of the universe (Cosmology)
In these areas, several research styles are available: Theoretical model building, analysis of results from large computer simulations, analysis of real results from telescopes, or comparison and fitting among all of these.
Successful students are guaranteed excellent funding throughout their studies.

Postdoctoral fellowships in cosmology are available for working with Prof. Rennan Barkana (starting date and length of position are flexible). Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in astronomy or physics by the date of appointment. There are no restrictions on citizenship.
The following areas of research are preferred: Formation of the first stars and quasars, reionization and 21-cm cosmology, galaxy formation, large-scale structure, and gravitational lensing. Projects are available involving theoretical study as well as modeling of numerical simulation results and observational data.
Applications should preferably arrive by December 31, but later applications may be considered if positions are still available. The application should include a curriculum vitae, a list of publications, a brief statement of current and future research, and at least three letters of recommendation (which may be sent in directly). The material should be sent by e-mail. Email inquiries are welcome (barkana@wise.tau.ac.il).
