WHAT = Wise observatory Hungarian-made Automated Telescope

WHAT is a small robotic telescope designed to be fully automated and controlled remotely via a web interface. The WHAT consists of a Canon 200 mm f/1.8 lens and an Apogee AP10 2K X 2K pixel CCD, yielding an 8.2 X 8.2 degree field of view.
Located at the Wise Observatory, Israel, WHAT is a collaboration between the Wise Observatory of the Tel Aviv University (TAU) and the Konkoly Observatory of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences (HAS).

First planet detected by WHAT: HAT-P-2b.
