Title: Electronic braiding and the non-abelian quantum Hall effect

Abstract:

I will describe what is the non-abelian quantum Hall effect and how it
may be used to construct a topological quantum computer. I will then
focus on several proposed experiments that can serve as litmus tests
for identifying non-abelian quantum Hall behavior.

My talk will assume no prior knowledge of any of these scary-looking
terms.
