Variable, almost point-like source. VRI photometry from an UH 2.2m image shows this object to be blue (courtesy of H. Ebeling and D. Kocevski). Keck spectroscopy (courtesy of R. Guhathakurta, G. Smith, A. Filippenko and R. Chornock) confirms this is a high-z QSO.
