Wise Observatory M33 Variability Search

The Wise Observatory M33 variability search is a long-term V-band photometric survey conducted with the Wise Observatory 1-m telescope from 2000-2003. A total of 617 exposures of the three observed fields were obtained over 95 nights. Of the 290 identified variables 127 are new and for another 10 previously known non-periodic variables a period was identified.

This study is reported in a paper published by MNRAS. Lightcurves of all 6418 objects obtained in this survey are available here.

Variables were classified as Cepheids, Eclipsing-Binaries (EBs), Unclassified Periodics (periodic variables not identified as EBs or Cepheids) and Non-Periodic Variables. The links below present tables containing lightcurves of all variables including Wise Observatory designation, period, amplitude and V magnitude. For known variables the comments column contains the known designation, usually taken from the DIRECT project. The EB table contains links to figures presenting the EBAS solution. The Cepheid and Unclassified Periodic tables contain links to figures presenting the AoV analysis.
