I will discuss the latest constraints imposed by Lyman Alpha emitting
galaxies on the spatial distribution of neutral intergalactic gas
during the EoR. I will also discuss what can be learned from their
observed spectra, equivalent widths, and--in the future-- their
polarization. Finally, I will discuss the connection of Lyman Alpha
emitting galaxies with the galaxy population as a whole.
